arik levy

REPRESENTED ARTIST
Born in Israel, Levy’s skills are multi-disciplinary, and his works as an Artist, Technician, Photographer, and Designer are shown and installed worldwide.

Art became the medium of expression for Levy, whose dyslexia formed his life's path toward mastery of art and design beginning with an unconventional painting style on surfboards as if they were canvas. After opening an art and graphic design studio, Levy moved to Europe following his first group sculpture exhibition in Tel-Aviv in 1986, eventually establishing his studio in Paris in 1992.

Levy gained a BS with distinction from the Art Center Europe in Switzerland before living in Japan where through his observances of the Japanese minimalist culture which permeated his aesthetic, he returned to Europe to contribute his skills to set design for opera and dance productions.

Considering himself now more of a "feeling" artist, Arik Levy continues to contribute substantially to our interior and exterior milieu, his work including public sculpture, as well as complete environments that can be adapted for multi-use. "Life is a system of signs and symbols," he says, "where nothing is quite as it seems."
