REPRESENTED ARTIST
Jason Krugman (born 1983 in Boston, Massachusetts) is a contemporary New York-based artist who develops new applications for LED lighting in sculpture and architecture.
Krugman began his career on Wall Street but was inspired to pursue new media art after being exposed to ground-breaking technical artworks by artists working at the Interactive Telecommunications Program in New York. His current body of work, initiated in 2007, combines new materials and power distribution techniques to arrange light and electricity creatively within 3-dimensional space. Krugman's public art repertoire includes, Basket, a monumental lighting sculpture dedicated in early 2020 at the Eva Sugden-Gomez building at Baker Park in Naples, Florida.
