Celebrating an inaugural exhibition at a brand-new gallery, METHOD & CONCEPT opens with an exhibition of work by Paris-based artists, Arik Levy and Zoé Ouvrier entitled, Beyond Nature.

Beyond Nature marks the married couple’s first exhibition together and the debut of Ouvrier’s work in the United States.  Arik Levy’s monumental sculpture, Craterstone296, is a monolithic marble composite sculpture that is permanently on view outside at the entrance of The Collective (111 10th Street South), a contemporary lifestyle center and the new home to METHOD & CONCEPT.

Both Levy and Ouvrier create works inspired by Nature, placing emphasis on material and process and the viewers internal reflection. Presented together, the couple’s interwoven dynamics become heightened, offering an exploration of human nature, emotion and self.
