EXHIBITION | BLOOM KA-POW!
METHOD & CONCEPT PARTNERSHIP WITH FLORIDA GULF COAST UNIVERSITY

Method & Concept is proud to announce the continued partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University to promote and enrich arts and culture in SWFL with the exhibition of BLOOM KA-POW! Carmelo Blandino.
Numerous works through decades of local artist, Carmelo Blandino’s painting practice will be on exhibit at Florida Gulf Coast University, Wasmer Art Gallery + Art Lab from January 17th to March 2nd, 2023.
The paintings in this empowering exhibition are on loan from collections of past exhibitions as well as private commissions.  The paintings range from large-scale explorations of abstracted florals and notions of Nature’s heroism, to playfully concealed iconography in an attempt to strengthen and empower the motivation away from the mundane of the everyday, in an effort to thwart the dark fringe of human uncertainty.

Sponsored by Method & Concept, The Wasmer Family, Gene and Lee Seidler; the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture
