Peter Hermansson
Peter Hermansson is a Master Glass Artist based in Nybro, Sweden. His works encapsulate a unique, contemporary Swedish narrative, referencing historical glass traditions while also incorporating his graphically expressive graffiti styles. Following his formal studies at the Orrefors National Glass School, Hermansson evolved two significant Swedish glass techniques of Grall and Ariel over more than two decades which have become a recognizable, signature style. Notably, Hermansson’s unique graphic illustrations are transferred into the surface of his glass vessels through an etching technique creating a powerful visual narrative. Through his body of work, storytelling is central and closely tied to the craft as a continuum of expression. Hermansson is an internationally recognized and exhibited artist represented by Method & Concept. His one-of-a-kind, innovative works including Graal and Ariel glass masterpieces are currently on view and available in Naples and West Palm Beach, Florida.
