Brett Harvey

Sculptor, Brett Harvey conveys concepts of masculinity and beauty presented in a dichotomy of intimidating physicality and pensive vulnerability. His body of work upends historical tropes, speaking to the inner emotions and experiences conflicting and encompassing all humanity. A dominant principle in Harvey’s work is the origin of his informed technique and skill tracing back to the history of Greek sculpture, defined by his studies under world-renowned sculptors at the New York Academy of Art. Brett Harvey is a graduate of the New York Academy of Art, the New Hampshire Institute and he has also studied at the Florence School of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. Previously, the lead fabricator and installer for Jeff Koons, Brett Harvey further honed his skills in monumental-scale production and installation before relocating to Naples, Florida. Brett Harvey's work has become prolific in the public art realm since 2020, placing two monumental public art sculptures with Method & Concept in the Naples Design District, as well as a large work at the historic, ACL | ROW sculpture garden.
